I was on a flight back to Starkville sitting close to coach Wilson when he found out that banks won. It was very apparent how proud he was of Banks, and refreshing to see that human side of football. Coach Wilson was absolutely as proud as he could be, not for MSU or himself as a coach, but for Banks. He kept saying over and over how it could not happen to a better guy, and I'm pretty sure I saw some tears.
