Independence at Hough and Mallard Creek and Watauga are tough Second Round matchups for sure

Definitely think Hough can send Grimsley home next week. As for weddington, their offense doesn’t impress me all that much, but that after I saw what their dline did to PD’s star studded oline, I don’t think there is a oline in NC that can block them. That is always going to give them a chance against anyone imo.

Whether it’s Hough or Grimsley vs weddington, this is looking to be a good western finals.

Does anyone in the East stand a chance against whoever comes out of the West?

I would say no and that this week is more like a semifinal round.

Weddington has an easier path then every body else and that worries me for them. The team that survives to play them will have seen thunder and lightning

Rolesville probably has the best chance to dethrone the west champ based on their star power, but I don’t think they will. Their team last year would’ve gave a better fight than hoggard in the state championship imo.
