DeBoer and Penix both.Would have been cheaper to identify & pay for the next Penix
Or if we win, it’s against a new coach so it doesn’t count.Oh boy. There goes another winnable game.
We don’t play them next yearOr if we win, it’s against a new coach so it doesn’t count.
15.5 mil in 2 payments, all furnished by alum donorsWould have been cheaper to identify & pay for the next Penix
So we got lucky because it would’ve been an automatic loss.We don’t play them next year
At Rutgers that 15.5 mill would be on the 30 year plan if RU boosters were footing the bill.15.5 mil in 2 payments, all furnished by alum donors
Didn’t think they would swallow the 20M. The extension off short term results proves costly.
Could be boosters stepping up and Allen settling for 4.3 Mil less .They couldn't wait another week?
I don’t think the actual day mattered even though they report that. They couldn't wait another week?
Stop being a foolSo we got lucky because it would’ve been an automatic loss.
Just seems like there is a group of “fans” trying to qualify everything GS touches. I’ve heard it all before. Just trying to save everyone some time.Stop being a fool
Not many is qualifying it .Just seems like there is a group of “fans” trying to qualify everything GS touches. I’ve heard it all before. Just trying to save everyone some time.
I believe Paul Chryst did that too when Wisconsin let him go as well. I'm not sure other than you might get more money up front in the lump sum payments and maybe no offsets for future employment.what is in it for Allen to agree to a number lower than what his contract determined payout would be?
Mark Cuban paying anything?15.5 mil in 2 payments, all furnished by alum donors
Most likely a PV discountI believe Paul Chryst did that too when Wisconsin let him go as well. I'm not sure other than you might get more money up front in the lump sum payments and maybe no offsets for future employment.
Is that much going to change in the future? Inflation going down lol. Most likely a PV discount
Might be lump sum right away instead of regular payments until the time the contract was due to expire and what he earns , until paid in full, being deducted from what he was owed.what is in it for Allen to agree to a number lower than what his contract determined payout would be?
Or if we win, it’s against a new coach so it doesn’t count.
GS is a good teacher because they all figured it out after they played us.My new favorite is any team we beat is in cHaOs or dIsaRrAy so it doesn't count
I just learned today VT was in dIsArRaY so beating them was in fact not a good win at all
Delbarton Kindergarten ain't gonna pay for itself. Those poors in the endzone seats need to pony up!Gruden would be a massive hire for them.
IU boosters come up with $15MM for a buyout. We simply don't have that type of juice to make those moves.
Interesting that you never hear Paul Chryst's name associated with a job opening post his Wisconsin firing. His overall record was pretty good.
Could have paid the QB 5 million for 4 years of service and 10.5 million to the offensive line and receivers.15.5 mil in 2 payments, all furnished by alum donors
