8/21 and at least 4 of them were insane plays by our side outs. The other ones are awful completions on low throws like the one on 2nd and 25 to Kyle. The Hail Mary to Washington and the TD. I think every other throw has been awful.
I’ve been a Gavin supporter… and GS has given him a tremendous opportunity. But this game…. I mean he is just missing wide open guys.
I know we're beat up but you'd think Gavin and the receivers would have some sort of chemistry at this point.

Unless your arguing for Gavin to come out (which would be very fair at this point) you cannot otherwise put this on Kirk’s play calling. Gavin can’t throw an accurate pass. He can’t do it on simple screen. He can’t do it in mid range. He can throw 50 / 50 heaves I guess but do you see my point? What plays do you suggeste we try? He can’t throw accurately!
If you want to blame Kirk for Gavin’s lack of development, that’s one thing. Gavin can’t win a game for us. He can manage a game by letting the RB run the ball and occasionally run it himself. That’s all he can do for us.
Complain all you want and the complaints are mainly valid.
But f you want to end games like this, hope HAobbs is given the OK to spend what it takes to bring in a HC that can make Rutgers a top program and not one just good enough to go to minor bowl games and play games like this as well.

Honestly, I think he would do well at G5 level or FCS where his athleticism would be differentiated. On this level he get matched so no advantage and he just may not be able to develop the on field IQ you need.
