Who makes the decisions on when games times will be changed due to weather? Home team, or do both teams agree? We both agree that it was probably to our advantage to play game 3 Saturday night since the UMiss reliever wasn't available to pitch.

Also, I think overall things are better now that we're being more proactive in moving games due to weather forecast. But in hindsight, this weekend could have easily have been played as originally scheduled with single games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I don't know between Home/Visitor but I'm pretty sure ESPN and the conference have some say so too because of broadcast rights and what's scheduled for those slots being considered for moving them to

You would think. But the Friday games were definitely not scheduled with TV in mind. Game 1 started at 4:00 with a scheduled 7:00 TV game. So we wound up getting 1 pitch and then a 45 minute delay in the TV window. Very poor decision not to start game 1 at 3:00 or 3:30 instead of 4:00.

Need to quit your job and go work for a reputable company that doesn't hire rebearsharks employed.

I'm sorry they couldn't beat a team without a coach, that gave up 11 walks, 1 HBP and 2 errors...

We have been told that it doesn't matter and nobody is watching on the TV or in the stands. College baseball is a non-revenue inconsequential sport. Only the players' moms and their fat girlfriends care. **
Sarcasterisks are superfluous.

Predicting the weather, is only slightly above Crap Shoot on the scale.
I think they moved the games with no ulterior motive, except to get them played.
I tend to agree. As much rain as we got, I think the goal was to get the games in whenever they could. In hindsight, they could have played as originally scheduled. But if they tried that, they very well may have only gotten the Friday game in.

MSU had to get a waiver from SEC Office to play a DH on Friday, which both teams agreed to. SEC told them to play on Saturday if they saw a window, which they did.

Thanks. That makes sense. And I think the right thing to do.
