Says Chris Jones now #2 DT. I think that provides quite a bit of insight into Nick James and Quay's status at least for our game against OSU.

Calm yourself. Remember that guy Fletcher Cox? He played both and could easily play either in the NFL (although DE would require him to change his body type a little). Eulls plays both currently at a pretty good level. If he truly is 6'7" ~280lbs why in the hell would you not at least give him reps at DT? Especially against a banged up OL. Autry is the veteran 5* pass rusher and having 3 pass rushing beasts on the field together all of a different body type would be A-W-E-S-O-M-E. I just don't see where you'd get much value from James or Evans against a high flying 70+ play plus team. That's where we got roasted against A&M.Don't like this at ALL. I don't want to see Jones' speed wasted on the inside.
I'll believe James (or Evans for that matter) personal problems have been rectified when I start to see some evidence of it. We knew both were off-field questions when we signed them. If we can get 1 of them to live up to the hype, we'll be doing good. Which is what I've been saying since we signed them.
issue that got him behind academically has been resolved. I agree with what you are saying. I think both of these games came in and thought they would roll through the process and be starters with great success their entire carriers and then start cashing big NFL checks. Well guess what, this **** is hard and you better have the mental focus, discipline, and toughness or you aren't gonna make it. I hope the light turns on.
So, you're saying Dan Mullen signed a bunch of 4 and 5* prima donnas that won't ever contribute significantly on the field because they can't cut it off the field.
So much for nothing but good, hard-working, down to earth grinders.
