that the "coaching rivalry" was more something for the Message Boards and the TV. Those guys never disliked each other, they were both just competitors who wanted to win. From what I know of Stans (which was admittedly a while back) he doesn't have a whole lot of hate in his heart for anyone. He just doesn't strike me as that kind of guy.
