I'll start.
Heritage @ Graham.
Should be a good one, Graham should be very good again.
Interesting side note - Heritage coach Brad Bradley's grandfather "Burrhead" Bradley coached at Graham way back when. Bradley will get to play on the field that his grandfather practiced on.

That is cool. Think heritage will have the edge on this one. Coach Bradley has that sauce. Beat me in the last game I played at Salem. Probably will give plenty of looks graham isn’t used to seeing
Maybe the edge, but not an automatic win in Bluefield. Graham is going to be dynamite and you may see a matchup with 2 teams playing for state titles in their respective classifications. Heritage is incredible and talented, but Graham will bring a very unique brand of not your average or above above average level of speed and athleticism for a Class 2 school. Heritage may win, but they will not have the edge in speed and athleticism. Should be a great game. Welcome home Brad Bradley to your old roots. Stud coach and former great Salem Spartan player.

Heritage lost a bunch of kids to graduation .. pretty much anybody that touched the ball or made a tackle is gone.. a couple of good linemen back.. but they will get a transfer or 2 and coach them young boys up I’m sure .. Graham has some dogs returning and so much speed . The DBs are a year older and I think the young qb will be a problem later in the year .. can’t wait

Curious to know if they’re any additional mid/mid-cycle one-offs this time around in terms of random games we haven’t seen. Always tough since two year home and home contracts are usually signed. But there is generally the random one that sneaks in here or there.

And the more random and outrage and travel heavy game the better.

I call it “mid/mid-cycle” since we’re in the middle of a two year segment of the ridiculous four year cycle. I wish we would go back to the old days of the two year cycle.

Thanks to the OP for posting about the Heritage/Graham game. That’s pretty cool.

Appomattox, Graham, Central. TJ might be frontrunners from each of rhe regions.
Armstrong will be the favorite over Tee Jay. They both have to get by Poquoson though. Dan River may end up being the best out of the Dogwood bunch. Hard to think they’ll beat the likes Glenvar, Floyd or Radford. I’m very surprised Martinsville isn’t better than what they are. They have some studs but can’t get over the hump.

Yea I’m waiting for others to post some unique game matchups but nobody has yet lol… hard when the schedule hasn’t been announced yet unless some one on here is “in the know” at a certain high school .

Martinsville ain’t bustin a grape in football .. Dan River has a freshman WR I like ,, they will be about the same next year 5-6 wins - they lose their QB and 3 top rushers . I think Stuart’s Draft might be a sleeper , a good amount of juniors returning from a 9 win team. I like what Radford has returning also , they were extremely young last year.

Will King William or Central Woodstock be any good?
King William will be about the same . They won 7 games last year , have a new Qb but their system won’t have to change. They have 2500 rushing yards returning with 3 rbs combined . Defense needs to be much better!

Woodstock I can see being around .500 again , the qb is gone but they had some good juniors on that team . They benefited from some bad conference opponents last year . Played Strasburg tough in regular season but they will need more to be competitive. IMO

Stuart’s draft middle school and jv team was pretty good
