Iowa Band

i'm not a band guy, but I did notice the Iowa band is bigger than ours but fits in half the space. Maybe Hobbs will notice!?

I noticed at Wisconsin they have the core marching band that is equivalent to our size but they also have another 100 or so kids that don't march but play in the stands. Very easy way to sound louder and it allows some kids that want to play but don't want to do all the practicing to be in the band.

lol i've been saying this for years....all you have to do is go to an RU bowl game and we'll take up the same # of seats as a band twice our size...it's one of Smith's "tricks" to make the band appear bigger than it really is (along with flat-out lying about its size...)

BTW they said "600" on the field, for the national anthem, and MSU's band is currently at 350.
