They like to laugh at meltdowns here. Theirs are even worse...some real doozies on the chickenhawk board. All are blaming "New Kirk".... Who really isn't any different than the old pos old Kirk.

It's great.

Actually the main board is is no way melting down might be a few in the free board but don't go there too many jack in apes kind of like the ones who call for firing a first year coach.

I am not going over there...but I don't blame them.

MSU had a 10 minute drive with 23 plays where they gave up just enough on 3rd and 4th down to keep the drive alive.
That would be REALLY hard to swallow for a 12-0 team that had played GREAT defense all game and then KNEW MSU was going to run them ball.

But I am good with the result!

I'm sure Iowa had many injuries going in to the game as do all teams this time of year. But they caught a huge break playing MSU with a future NFL qb who could barely lift his right arm, which is what made that last drive so incredible. It was a drive right out of Woody Hayes' three yards and a cloud of dust playbook.

Don't need to visit another team's board to know what they're saying. Iowa fans just realized what everybody else already knew: they got really lucky with the easiest schedule in the conference this season, and were a paper tiger with a lot of narrow wins over the dreck of the conference. When they finally had to play someone with a pulse they fell short. What shocker to no one outside of Iowa.

By the way, Lois Feldman was the only decent Iowa fan, and they won't allow her to attend games any more.

I too am happy with Michigan state winning. I think they'll give Clemson a good game.

Furthermore, Nebraska gets a consolation prize for giving a Championship Bowl Series team their only loss.

The 1st qtr loss of Iowa's top running back who scored twice against Huskers MIGHT have had something to do with it

Not sure why there would be a meltdown you guys played great.

Agreed.

I admit I didn't really respect them before they played us, and I thought we were going to win that game, but of course we didn't and then I saw the way they played yesterday and I am a convert. Iowa is a tough, sound, good team that deserved to be in that title game.
