They put a stat on the broadcast that said Oklahoma St was 4-10 in their last 14 home games. You can probably make that 4-11 after tonight. Gundy had a decent run but probably time to move in a different direction.

I was at a convention with a bunch of Virginians this week most were VT fans and every one of them said they would be happy with Mullen. They said he has won everywhere he has been. He is 106-61 overall, 34-15 at Forida and was with 7-3 in bowl games. He would probably do good there.

That would be a good fit, but I doubt he’d take it. Mullen’s probably only got one shot left at another legit P4 job, and I’m betting he’ll want it to be in the SEC or B1G. VT is far too low of a ceiling to allow for a move into a contender. They’ll likely be in the Big 12 in a few years too, and who knows what that looks like for them.

Oklahoma State’s biggest problem is that T. Boone Pickens died before NIL and Revenue Sharing happened. If he was still alive and actively contributing to that program, they would be competing.

Iowa has football coaching searches twice in almost fifty years. Maybe it's time for Ferenz.

Some of you older dogs might remember Hayden Fry bringing his North Texas State team to Scott Field in the late 70s and almost being us. A fluke play (their qb overthrew a wide open redeiver) kept us from losing. Next thing you know he's at Iowa for twenty years. Ferenz has been there twenty-seven years.

Kind of like Arkansas baseball.

So we don’t want Dabo, who was in the playoff last season, but we do want Mike Gundy, who is 1-11 in his last 12 games and lost a game 69-3. This board is on crack.
"We" don't want either if you're including me in that "we". Dabo last week showed what a whiny little cu-nt he is and got spanked again. I haven't watched his post game comments but can't wait
