Sometimes I think, there is no way Goat will say some crazy shít that would surprise me. Then you go and completely prove me wrong. Kudos.
They put a stat on the broadcast that said Oklahoma St was 4-10 in their last 14 home games. You can probably make that 4-11 after tonight. Gundy had a decent run but probably time to move in a different direction.
A past-his-prime Ferentz would be the most MSU hire of all time. If you could have 15 players on offense, he’d still have 5 TE’s and 5 fullbacks out there.
I was at a convention with a bunch of Virginians this week most were VT fans and every one of them said they would be happy with Mullen. They said he has won everywhere he has been. He is 106-61 overall, 34-15 at Forida and was with 7-3 in bowl games. He would probably do good there.
So we don’t want Dabo, who was in the playoff last season, but we do want Mike Gundy, who is 1-11 in his last 12 games and lost a game 69-3. This board is on crack.

That would be a good fit, but I doubt he’d take it. Mullen’s probably only got one shot left at another legit P4 job, and I’m betting he’ll want it to be in the SEC or B1G. VT is far too low of a ceiling to allow for a move into a contender. They’ll likely be in the Big 12 in a few years too, and who knows what that looks like for them.
He even took a pay cut.

A fluke play (their qb overthrew a wide open redeiver) kept us from losing. Next thing you know he's at Iowa for twenty years. Ferenz has been there twenty-seven years.
Kind of like Arkansas baseball.
