Iowa ran 18 plays in entire 2nd half!

The stat I did not realize was Iowa 0-9 in third down plays. Really need to fix that before next Saturday. Hopefully the extra day helps Iowa.
That just shows you how bad TA played today.

Yep. Iowa was exactly what we thought they were. Nothing too flashy, nothing real awe inspriing. They lean on the ground game to run the clock and they don't make mistakes.
Iowa had only 250 total yards. Had a lot of good field position, but take away nearly 100 yards rushing on two plays (which you can't, darn it) and the D held up pretty good. TO's just killed them today, along with 9 penalties.
Yes the Hawks played their worst game of the year and still won.
When you have a 1 play td drive on a 68 yard run, and a two play td drive featuring a 30 plus yard td run, it impacts the number of plays you run in a quarter. Funny that Iowa is normally criticized for having 13 play td drives and not being explosive. Now Iowa is explosive in the third quarter and they are being criticized for that. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
