Is electric....wish we still had crowds like that in the Coliseum! Give credit to their fans....they show up in football and basketball

not trying to take anything away from them. but the midwest and south are littered with venues like that. there's nothing else to do.

And that's different from Morgantown how? Actually Ames is about double Morgantown and Des Moines is only 40 minutes or so away. So I'd say it's safe to say that Ames has as much if not more to do than Morgantown

That game was against Iowa, their backyard brawl. If we played Pitt, you would see the same energy if not more from our crowd.

I've watched many more Iowa State games in the last three years than I have in the rest of my life.

It's no exaggeration .... there really is a dynamic going on with the fans, the court, and the team that all adds up to that thing they call Hilton Magic! I would love to go there sometime to watch a game.

I watched a good bit of that game last night. Once they got the lead down to 12-14 I was pretty sure that they were going to pull it out. And the way it happened ... grabbing the lead for the first time since very early in the game with just seconds left was incredible. And everyone .... the fans, the team, the coaches, and even Fran Fraschilla were expecting it to happen. And it happened .... like magic!
