As a lib, it could simply be a defense mechanism on his part; there is a study that clearly shows that libs have a much harder time with accountability, so he is having an emotional reaction for being held accountable by you. It’s interesting though that he used the term fatty, because the study deals with fat and obese people. I will post it in the “happiness” post at some point. Basically, conservatives that are overweight acknowledge that they have some control over it, and can do something about it, but liberals that are overweight, deny any responsibility and blame it on genetics.
