The one clip I’ve seen of a tanker on fire was actually an Iranian tanker. Like maybe they missiled it on purpose to make it look bad.

I don't see this lasting very much longer. Iran has no legitimate support from any country in the Middle East. The more problems they cause, they worse it gets for them.

Yesterday (because I needed to) but it was already 30 cents more/gallon than it was on Feb 1. That's almost a 10% increase just because of the threat of war over a 4 week period.
They thought it was gonna take a little while to track down all the inner circle leadership, but they all decided to have breakfast together yesterday.

It's hard to fathom how many they have killed who participated in the protests over the last few months. The Iranian people are going to have to step up and do the dirty work themselves at some point, and I find it hard to believe they have the ability (the arms especially) to do it. Maybe they will.
All I know is that this is a really scary situation, and prayer will be needed now more than ever. Today's news of US military deaths was really hard to take, and make it even more real for us. I personally have a lot of confidence in our President, but it's going to be a tough road for us, and an even tougher road for Israel. As much as we all want regime change in Iran, it's going to come at a huge cost.

What rule was broken to deserve a week ban? The post may have been unhinged, or full of assumptions, or unnecessarily aggressive, but that is no different from countless posts on SPS each day.
I dont think this was done to distract from the historically blundered Epstein debacle.
Related to the poster's claim though, I also dont understand why it was so imperative to bomb right now instead of months ago, months in the future, or not at all. I think had we had the assets in place we would have bombed them a while ago when protests were at their peak. We didn't have the assets in the area, so lots of protesters were killed, and the chance of regime change is smaller now. Not sure how much smaller or how realistic it was to begin with. Mass killings of people that oppose you are unfortunately pretty effective at maintaining control. That's why you've seen virtually every communist country do it and part of the reason that communist regimes last so long even while their citizens live in miserable conditions.

Those tentacles run deep and the whole debacle should unify the common folks against the elite throughout both parties who operate with impunity because they have deep pockets. However, I suspect most of us will be content being led to wage war against the other half of our country as directed by party leaders. That's the real distraction!
