then I doubt we will have room. Likely boils down to what the Alexanders do. Also, I guess we will hold a spot for Toby Johnson if he still plans to come on an OV. Would be nice to get one DT in the class.24/7 is reporting he may wait till after NSD to sign. I guess he's going to see what shakes out.
If that's the case, I want him. But only if there's only 24 signees tomorrow. Toby would be great but I don't know if I'd be willing to wait a week for him to say he's going to Auburn.Could be the thought of potentially landing his younger brother

are people concerned about his injury? other issues (grades maybe)? Just seems odd that such a highly rated JUCO guy is having trouble getting a firm offer here at the very end.You need to get up-to-date on your Toby Johnson information...We are definitely holding a spot for him. He doesn't have a committable offer from Auburn(getting Montravius Adams) -- GA pulled his offer based on grade concerns(much harder to get into UGA than MSU)...

I'm not a fan of redshirting a JUCO. According to Auburn's beatwriter he doesn't think he will anyway.Georgia and Auburn aren't in the business of taking JUCOs that aren't going to be immediate impact guys. They are concerned about his injury and how it effects him going forward. We can obviously take greater risks in this area for elite talent. Grades are also pretty questionable for him -- but given the injury, we can probably afford to take him even if he doesn't fully qualify until July or August. It's going to be asking ALOT to have him 100% by the fall given his knee injury, though he does have a redshirt year that could potentially be used if it comes down to it...
We also have his mom and much of his family in Moorhead recruiting him for MSU as well -- so that helps us with him. Seems a bunch of others are trying to come back into the picture now that Georgia is out though...

We lost Boyd, Jones, and Cherrington. Is that correct? If he can play on day 1 I'll be ok with signing him. I don't know how I feel about holding a spot post-signing day for him though.
