For some reason I'm not worried about it at all. Even though they were the team that beat us at home a few weeks ago and started a 5 game skid. So now I'm starting to get nervous about not being nervous. Being a 17ing State fan will send you to an early grave if you let it.

Caldwell-Pope sinks his first 3.

He shot 50% (6 of 12) from 3 point range against us @ the Hump.

I'm eager to see if his Pistol Pete Maravich ******** continues Thurs.

We got one revenge game and dominated it on Saturday. We get another revenge game on Thursday and should do the same. We actually had an active 2/3 zone against Arkansas on Saturday and still contested three point shots. My guess is we will do something similar. Georgia doesn't have a good inside presence. Of course, yes there is a chance we don't play well and drop the first game but really all signs point to us being focused with rest playing a vastly poor opponent. I am thinking we will win by 15-18 points. Now the Vandy game will be tough. If we get by that one, I think we make it to the finals. Remember, we opened with an 18 point romp of Georgia to open the 2008-2009 tourney and won that one. This tourney has a similar path that one had. Let's just hope they build off the Arkansas demolishing. What I was mainly impressed with regarding our active 2/3 zone is that since we were out on them at the three point line they never really attempted as many. Sometimes just being out there forcing them to make decisions with the ball is just as good because they aren't wide open and they have to think about it. Plus, Robinson won't be able to drive to the basket with the 2/3 zone we played Saturday.

and Fox is a helluva coach IMO. They did beat Notre Dame this year and Florida by double digits. Caldwell-Pope was a McDonald's All American last year and ranked right behind Anthony Davs, Gilchrist,Rivers and a couple ofothersin most recruiting sites -so he is a baller.

That being said, we need to play the same way we played Arkansas and really make it a point to get the ball down low to Sid and Moultrie. Lets play inside out and expose the advantage we have with our bigs. If we try and make this a 3 point shooting contest like we did in Starkville we will probably lose again.

I put a thread up last time concerning that game, coming off a big loss. Nobody else bothered to reply back - which was understandable. However I don't think this time will be an issue.

if we would have beaten them the first time. Now I believe Moultrie and Bost will be motivated to the fullest and not to mention the way Bryant is playing lateley. Hood should also be near 100% .
