I guess fans have to decide which is more important higher highs with lower lows or more consistent success without the peaks and valleys. To be honest, I am not sure where I fall there. With Iowa's historical lack of consistent winning seasons I would be pretty darn happy with 9 or 10 win seasons most of the time but having seasons like this one is pretty euphoric.

Now you finally get it you want to know how many seasons we have had since Devaney like yours this year.

Iowa only seen seasons like this maybe 9 times in school history if that.

Think about this since 1962 we have won 9+ games every year but 7 seasons including this season.

They said this is the first time in school history Iowa has started 10-0???

I never disagreed that the Huskers have a fantastic legacy or that Iowa never has had anywhere close to it, just that you aren't currently still a blue blood program. At what point with recent results would you yourself say Nebraska is no longer a blue blood program?

We are not currently relavent is the word your looking for.

Blue blood is about History and if you look it up only 4 schools have won more games than Nebraska.
We are still a blue blood program you don't know the comparisons between one and the other.

Both you guys give it a rest already. It adds zero to the discussion. If you want to continue the talk use pm.

Why can't you just make sig beat and give this a rest.

because if you are going to make ridiculous claims like Nebraska has a 95% chance of beating Iowa you should have to back it up with something more significant than a sig bet

sig bets are likely beating your chest when you win a hand in free poker bluffing with play money

I'll back off ... it is clear he won't back up his claims with anything of significance and will continue to talk out of his back side

That could be between 4 schools you don't have a rivalry you hardly play it's someone you play every year.

A Western Division rivial would be most likely Wisconsin. Our division will probably come down to us two in most years to come. But the Championship Game is where titles will be won. And Conference Titles is where we need to get back to winning.

I propose we win the West a time or two before we start announcing to the rest of the conference who is fortunate enough to be our rivals

we currently sit fourth

Any good business plan shows an upward trajectory. If it doesn't you need to hang it up.
