I got to looking at the pics from the weekend, and man, when we are hitting, the maroon helmets with the maroon jersey's look awesome.....then I see the team in the field with the white hats, and I nearly puke.....reminds me of crooms teams.... and Ive always said I would like black incorporated into our teams....football, baseball.....but damn, we're obviously gonna have to hire a fashion coordinator to get us looking good with black.... sorry if there is a thread on this.......just sayin....

Apparently, it's not just you though. This site and Gene's has many men who spend considerable time and effort discerning the prettiness of our uniforms. Caps, shirts, pants ... whatever. Gosh darn it - it better be pretty.
Don't let a particular item not be pretty enough. They'll moan, groan, whine, cry, *****, complain and screech in displeasure. Like you said, MSU is going to have to hire a fashion coordinator to keep you all satisfied.

And you hit it. I really don't care if they trot out there in pink camo as long as they knock the **** out of the baseball, throw bb's from the mound and make diving catches in the field. Same effort in football, basketball, etc. Sure, I like the unis in all sports to look cool, but damn, just win the games. To hell with the rest of it.
Nobody will ever be happy with every one of our baseball uniforms. That"s ok because we have like 5 options and they are all better than the ones we had last year. Seems like Cohen is going more "old school" than Polk did.
