Is it possible to keep the BE out of a BCS bowl this year?

I suspect that the only team that they will have ranked at the end of tonight will beCincinnati and the fact it's taking them this long to be ranked with a 7-1 record speaks volumes for them not being a quality BCS team. Not only that, but the Big East is in real danger of not having a single team with less than 2 or 3 wins since I see the possibility of Cincinnati losing at the most 2 more games as a real possibility. If that were to happen, I doubt that any Big East team ends the regular season ranked.<div>
</div><div>That debacle with UConn that happened last year is good enough evidence to show how screwed up the current system is. Even though I'm asking this question, I doubt that the Big East would legitimately lose it's bid, but if it were to happen, is there a possibility that an SEC school could take their bid were that to happen? Is there any kind of clause the could prevent them getting a bid? I know it says it's an automatic bid, but still...</div>

That was the least watched BCS bowl in the history of BCS bowls. They really were a bad team, and they got blown out by Utah in that Fiesta Bowl when Alex Smith, Mullen andUrban were there. After this year, I don't see how theBig East can keep their auto bid. They are just too terrible.

They're literally playing below C-USA level of play. C-USA literally has more teams ranked higher than the Big East. Someone needs to put the Big East of it's misery fast.

Give them two years, and they won't be a BCS conference. The desperate moves like adding Temple and Villanova (and sending invites to every athletic director they can think of) won't help.
