Based on people I have talked to that would know, Carmon is going to be an above average LT. He will have some moments where he plays a little tall and gets his long legs tied up on a speed rush, but on the whole I expect him to perform very similar to Addison Lawrence - solid but not spectacular (with the chance to be special by end of season). The same goes for our LB group. These guys arent going to carry the team, but its not like we are going to have a bunch of guys on skates back there. Lawrence has a lot of time under his belt and has gotten bigger. He will be a safe player. Skinner, Hughes and Wells have an opportunity to develop into playmakers and Brandon Wilson is going to be solid too. For those expecting an all-sec season out of Maye, I would temper your expectations to that of having a very solid time share at MLB. Maye will not be for us what Masoli was for UM. <div>
</div><div>DE is just going to limit us unless someone steps up. Ferg has shown that he can be serviceable over there, but not anything beyond average-SEC talent at this point. I expect Eulls to see a LOT of action on 1st and 2nd downs, so that gives me some hope, but he also won't be a pass rusher. We all know about McCardell's limitations and I have seen nothing spectacular out of Stigers. So basically I see one guy, Eulls, who has the potential to break out and be a really good player for us at that position, without McCardell having an outside shot. </div>
