Because that field is beautiful. Would you rather play on grass or turf? I'd like a nice field like that. A nice big bulldog logo at midfield, something like lsu and Missouri has. Really deck our field out. Could help in name recognition

We're famous for our grass in every professional league in North America. I'd be pissed if we switched to turf. It's something that makes Scott Field special.

I just think it looks nice. Don't know how it would effect our players, could be better for our style
Scott Field looks better, and if our style doesn't fit the field then we need to just learn to deal with it. Our style? C'mon.

grass is football. turf is arena league.
most sec teams have real grass. only arkansas, ole miss, vandy, and mizzou have fake *** grass. it certainly plays faster, but its got its drawbacks as well...primarily, a higher risk of injury.
aTm, bama, auburn, lsu, state, georgia, florida, south carolina, tennessee, kentucky all have the real stuff, and i prefer it that way.

We have the best Turf Grass Management program in the nation and have several patents on grass. There's no 17ing way we'd ever stop using grass. And I'm glad.
