I watched them chop like crazy when they beat #1 Florida. It's only unclassy when someone does it to them.

You have to remember the rules: "any and all hand motions, celebratory gestures, mocking of cheers, derisive memes and post-game boasting are ok when they do it and classless when we do it." You will never win this argument.

How soon they forget last year. When Dak came in the game he would start acting like he was pulling an air horn. It became a thing with him and the linemen. The first time he came in the game last year he along with the linemen started doing it. We ran the obvious behind the tackle short yardage play, and it got stuffed. Soon after that Moncrief scored and did it to mock us. After that through the rest of the game the players and coaches, yes including Freeze, would start doing it after big plays.

So their hypocritical fans can make a landshark sign and shove it up their offended ***. Like OP said. You don't want it to happen, then stop it.

Honestly, we should take over the land shark, because not only do we end up doing it more, but we look better doing it.

Or how about virtually every time Marshall Henderson does anything positive for them on a basketball court. He defines "no class" but to them he is just "passionate".

The landshark is apparently in memory of Tony Fein, who died from a drug overdose. He was an Army vet, mixed some drinks with some pills, but they don't think it was suicide.

That's what they're referring to. I respect that, but I don't feel a lot of their players even really know that.

Absolutely not. If it is allowed to be done at all by the officials, then don't allow us to make big plays because we'll do it.

Why should they care anyway?

They are entirely too superior to MSU to be worrying about such petty crap.***

Basically, don't taunt/talk **** unless you want it done back to you. Pretty sure last year after our fake out "choo choo" play that failed, the OM players, coaches, and everyone in the stands in Oxford did that on every successful OM play the rest of the game. If mocking the landshark is classless then so is that.

I personaly can't understand how the landshark gesture is not a penalty...

and why OM is allowed to do it. Its just straight out taunting so how is that not unsportsmanlike? But if they are going to continue to allow OM to do it then they have to let teams do it back to OM.

The Landshark is and always was about showing up the opponent. It's a PC version of the throat slash. If they want to do it, fine, but using someone's death to justify it is sad.

i love the mockery. it takes such little effort to throw up a hand and they lose their ****. mock them, throw it up, move on, let them deal with it. if they want to cry about it, thats their problem. 17 em.

Completely sums it up perfectly. No other evidence needed now. Let's move on. We're just passionate....as we're mocking their hypocritical asses.

Is that more or less classless than y'all rushing it this year?

We didn't rush the field this year, dumbass. There were 100-200 people on the field after the game, but they were the people who were already watching the game from the sideline. Our students stayed in the stands.

Nice try though.
