Not sure, but it should be since taxpayer money pays for a lot of things University wide. Last I heard the Athletic Department falls under the MSU President.

It is public record, but it's not required to be online. You can send a public records request for whatever you want to know. You may have to pay for copies, though.

Only $5 per page, it’s 8,000 pages. How many copies would you like?

I have it and will answer questions but I’m not gonna share it. I’ll screen shot answers if I can attach. The copy I have is for FY25

Will you share it if we pay for copies? It's not like it's a secret.

Let me help everyone out, it's the lowest budget in the league with the lowest revenue as well. There's no mystery here

Public records requests are a necessary evil, but a HUGE P.I.T.A. for agencies that get them. I never realized until my latest "consulting" gig w/ the MS Guvmint how many come in and how ridiculous most of them are. The majority that I see w/ this agency are attorneys just phishing for bait for class action lawsuits. This agency in the past used interns and their hourly rate to do them. They now forward all of them to the department attorneys and apply their hourly rates on these ridiculous ones and its amazing how many of the class action seekers decide its not worth the phishing expedition if they are going to have to pay a significant sum for the info. In other words it weeds out the ambulance chasers and shows you who is serious if they do or don't proceed with the info request

Two separate things but "great" is probably a stretch. It's pretty good though. Still think the new setup is bad as well as confusing and I don't like blindly giving money to programs I don't give a crap about.
When they wouldn’t let me designate an additional contribution beyond my regular contribution, I said 17 it and just quit donating completely. I showed them! **. But seriously who the heck doesn’t accept designated contributions to programs they already run?

and based on what I see we are not in pretty good shape with NIL. We may think we are & I’m sure it’s better than it was. But we’re still at the bottom of the SEC.

It’s better than a lot of other places. So maybe sit this one out Pat
You got any concrete proof on that Bulldawg77?

Sure our NIL is better than Southern, if that's what your qualify as "other places."

Seeing how there is a playoff now. Smu made the playoffs. State really should join the b12 or acc.

Our nil and budget are much more in line with those schools.

assuming those conferences would take us.

I do. Have you not seen how our portal and HS classes have improved in both football and basketball?
Have you not paid attention to the donations that have been pouring in?

Such a po ol take. We are in good shape with NIL those commenting that we are not either don’t give never have or in pats example stopped for some reason.. sure we can and could use more donations but to sit back and act like we have a small amount isn’t based in facts
And another thing.
I have seen a lot of taking on other boards about Texas supposedly 35MM roster but it’s all a headline grab. A certain former poster here who may or not be associated with a particular board says we are done do to this said article. He obviously didn’t read it… Because In the article it states they are counting the REV share amount of 22MM. Well that’s all well and good but here’s the thing. Not all of that 22MM is going to football and the REV share hasn’t been approved yet.
Let’s not forget when REV share is passed we will also have the 22MM.

Well I hope you're right. In that others NIL isn't what they're made out to be. Also hopefully the House settlement is finalized and NIL becomes true nil.

However it will be interesting to see, how State fans feel by ... 2030... if we haven't had a winning season in football in years. I guess like 1990. Which I remember somewhat... 20k crowds and Tennessee opening the season with a thumping of us. But I was 17 then and naive. Now, I've seen this enough to know we are basically Dollar General trying to compete with Walmart and Target and etc. much bigger brands.

We are trending the right way. Just takes patience. Especially what this program had to endure. I get the apprehension but there is a plan and a process. It’s being implemented .. Just have to trust it. Each of us can help by signing up for th SEF
