Is Rosebowl really this petty?

heard he kept on and on and went all the way to the top of scout complaining about John Farley writing for an independent site (Wardlaw) while also working for scout. The owner of the ULL site was told he'd have to renegotiate his contract at a lower cost if he was going to keep Farley on. He had no choice but to let Farley go.

I've heard Rosebowl has been trying for months to do this. Those of you that read 247 know that the Farley family has lost two people in recent weeks, including John's sister. Now he's been fired because Steve didn't like him working for scout and being competition while working for Wardlaw.

I hope John doesn't mind his dirty laundry being aired, but Rosebowl deserves to burn for this one. He hurt a family's well being through incessant complaining to scout. Also heard he had Louisiana given to him and then taken away again. Maybe that had something to do with it? Another story showing his asshattery is how he handled himself when John answered some questions about his daughter playing softball on the message boards. He told John that scout employees shouldn't use the boards to promote their kids. This was after GP ran a damn story on his kid as a baseball prospect. Johns daughter is one of the top ranked pitchers in the nation.

I believe they replaced John with his brother. Guess the Farley family gets the last laugh.<div>

He is the main reason why Gene is losing customers faster than Auburn boosters can raise money for quarterbacks

Just one of a long list of things Peachbowl doesn't get.

John Farley did not work for Rosebowl. He isn't one of his "sales reps." If he was, Rosebowl couldve fired John himself. Instead, he cried like a little girl all the way to the top of scout until someone finally caved. Every level of manager didn't act on it... apparently because the supervisors and bosses closest to the situation didn't view it as a problem. Instead of Rosebowl accepting those decisions, he kept going up the chain. After Farley had some deaths in his family, Rosebowl upped the anti and went for the kill. Honorable thing to do. John's got his gaurd down, so why not try to get him fired while he's dealing with deaths (plural) in his family. Rosebowl deserves to have whatever nutts his wife left him squashed with a hammer. You don't "compete" with your competitors by having them fired from the "non-competitive" job. You do it by outworking them. John was already better than him at covering State recruiting and Rosebowl's genius plot just freed John up to spend more time kicking Rosebowl's ***.

Proximity to Starkville gives him a huge advantage anyway.

Do you think LSU people would tolerate a guy covering LSU football from Starkville?
