his close circle of friends that he told the "young AD" that Cohen was not the right guy for the job. Then backing it up with "Raffo knows these kids from our camps, and knows who to pitch and when to pitch them." Thanks Ron, mission accomplished, our baseball program is a joke.

We'll see who's laughing in two years.

Oh and the <17> isn't showing up in the subject line.

Polk's said a lot of crazy ****, but I don't know that he'd be laughing at the misfortunes of one of his former players. Regardless of everything that happened with Raffo and Byrne.

I think he considers Cohen to be at least a little bit of an outsider. He transferred to MSU from Birmingham-Southern as a player, and he was an energetic and emotional player, and Polk did not like that one bit.

Also, when McMahon left for UF, and didn't take Raffo with him, guess who he hired as his hitting coach? Yep. John Cohen.

Also the guy that Cohen replaced at UK was Keith Madison, one of Polk's old pitching coaches at MSU.

Polk may not hate Cohen, but he has some reasons to be bitter. Especially in his crazy head.

more than two years. Once you get behind in the sec it is hard to catch up. Every program in the sec seems to just keep getting better with a couple of exceptions. Even if MSU improves it is gong to be hard to catch up with 5 or 6 of the programs in the sec.
