What has been going on there the last couple of years is interesting. We all know about North Carolina and their fraud academics. The cheating goes deeper than academics by the way. FSU has a sorry history when it comes to obeying the rules. The ACC brought in Louisville with its many issues both in football and basketball. Clemson has had issues. Duke is questionable and things get swept under the rug. The list can go on and on.

For years the ACC was reported by the media as the golden league. They did things right according to the press. That was always a lie and even more so today. IMO.

Don't forget the dirty Syracuse basketball program. LOL
That said, as long as Syracuse and Duke and UNC grads are in charge of a big chunk of sports media, starting with Espn, the ACC will always be the teacher's pet.

False. ACC already caught up and then some. Try again.

Miami lol notorious for cheating. Documentaries about their cheating ways, etc. Nevin Shapiro, Clint Hurtt (you know who he is, don't you?)
UNC biggest scandal ever, pretty much. Systematic cheating for decades. Basketball, football, etc. Football probation not too long ago too.
FSU - Notorious for cheating, academic fraud, etc. 70s cheating, 90's scandals, 2007 scandal, etc. Bball probation in the 70s, 80s, 2000s.
LOUISVILLE - Well, look who we have here. Nastiest scandal in 20 years. You have hookers hired by staff? Yikes. Might get that banner taken down since half the 2013 team should be ineligible. Hell, you have been in trouble 3 TIMES since UK's last bball issue. You already spent more years on probation than UK BEFORE your scandal and you think UK is dirty? LOL. Not to mention the stuff you got away with like Kevin Ware/Booster, Behanan selling ring for $ while still playing and Bridgewater getting thousands from that autograph/memorabilia guy, etc.
Syracuse - Hmm another program put on bball probation in 90s and again recently. Football probation 90s
NC State - History of NCAA violations. Hell, their entire athletics dept got sanctioned at one point.
Clemson - NCAA probation when they were "the" team in early 80s. Bball probation 70s, 80s, 90s
VA Tech - NCAA probation in 80s bball and football
Notre Dame - mid 90s football probation
GA Tech - football probation twice 2000s
PITT - 90s football probation. Bball probation in 90s
UVA - 90s football probation
Duke - Hell even they got bball probation in the 70s. K has had "issues" exactly like Calipari, but nothing happened to them.
Wake Forest - Bball probation 90s

Trust me, you're right up there with the SEC. You've got a nice football and bball balance going on too. You've got 2 of the worst scandals ever going on at UNC and UofL right now, so need to catch up.

Bravo. That pretty much lays it out. It is worse than I imagined when I started the thread. I don't know if any conference can top this stuff. Some of it is not only against NCAA rules, some of it is criminal.

LOL! UNC alone has vaulted the ACC over the entire SEC combined.

Then there's another ACC school with a well known micro manager coach that so completely lost control of his program that he didn't even know (snicker, snicker) that his assistant coaches were having hooker parties for recruits, recruit's parents, and his current players right under his very nose. I mean, that's almost unbelievable isn't it?

I'd imagine if you saw the sausage being made the SEC is the dirtiest conference as a whole, and I'd bet it isn't close. Football is a dirty game and we too are historically a dirty football program. We just have a horrible cheat per win ratio.

UK is foolish because as long as football is hurt, no problem. All and I mean all the ADs and school presidents in the SEC except UK and Vandy won't have a job if they don't protect their football programs. Case in point, LSU. AD and School President supported getting rid of Les no matter how they are perceived by the other schools, NCAA or sports media.

At real football schools, football is the first consideration and that means wins, period.
