After last nights win of Concord is the rivalry over.
Mike London made a post, with a running clock tonight, could this be the beginning of the end to this rivalry.
that made it 11 years in a row over concord.
Any thoughts?

I thought about this last night. If this goes to 12-15 years in a row with AL Brown winning it then this start‘s to become like a AL Brown n South Rowan game. My thoughts is either get a new rival started someone like JM Robinson or out of county like Statesville. I actually brought this up about 5 years ago. We could see the direction it was heading at that time with AL Brown n Concord. I would love to see the rival continue but as long as ALB keeps winning the bell game all the time then what point would it be to continue it.

Money would keep it going. Last night Brown had a huge crowd, the biggest one I’ve seen in a long time. You couldn’t move behind the stands.
Concord on the other hand only may have been 3/4 full.

Over the last 5 years the crowds for the bell game have been recovering IMO.
If we could have stayed in the same conference as Mooresville, I could see that turning into a pretty good rivalry game!
