Is there a less likeable coach/program right now than Boeheim and Cuse?

I hope he refuses to leave, and they have to drag him out kicking and screaming w no dignity. He has been unlikeable for my entire adult life. We still beat his Melo team, so he can suck it, now and forever.

"Ninety-five percent of Syracuse people want me to coach," he said. "Why wouldn't they? As bad as we've been the last two years, we were fun to watch last year and we're still fun to watch and we're still competing. We just played three of the top teams in the country to a standstill. If you're getting beat by 20 by those teams, then you say, 'OK, we'll see.'"

😂😂

Think I'm gonna make some popcorn and head on over to the Cuse board

One of the recent threads there mentions how good a job pikiell has done and how Syracuse should "maybe" go for him once boeheim retires.

Anyone over there that thinks that's a remote possibility has to smoke crack.
I know, hysterical. They can’t come to grips that we now have a better team/program…

This guy attacked a reporter the other day and now accusing other programs of buying their teams. He’s an old man yelling at the clouds and he’s washed up and the game has passed him by.

I've sat behind the cuse bench during several games at the rack. A couple of guys that I am always with would ride him a lot. I will just say that my friends were over the top obnoxious. Boeheim would actually engage them in conversations. He would remember them each time. He was funny and never rude. I have to say that these guys eventually backed off him because they respected his demeanor/class toward them when they were being rude ********.

I think he is a likable person.

For my vote as most repulsive coach and program: Juwann Howard and Michigan.

Boeheim and Syracuse have become irrelevant until poor Jimmy goes on some type of rant.

I've told this story before, but when we were in Syracuse for the FSU - Cuse football game in November, we were out to eat at Pastabilities (Italian restaurant), and Jim and Julie (his wife were at the table next to us)

Julie immediately struck up a conversation, asking us about FSU, where we were from, etc. - was nice as pie, truly a sweetheart, and appeared to be quite the looker

Jim was pleasant, but like we see on tv, you could tell he was the crabby one in the relationship.

As fate has it, I'm walking out of the bathroom while they're leaving out the back, and I asked Jim for a picture.

He obliged, we shook hands, exchanged some pleasantries (told him I didn't appreciate the 40 point beatdown Cuse gave the Noles at the ACCT in March, but I do appreciate everything he's done for the game for basketball), and he went on his way

Also told him the Johnny Flynn dunk over Mike Rosario was 100 % a charge as I was sitting front row student section and had a prime view (Rutgers sold assigned seats in student section for that game).

Jim was confused apparently 😂

Nothing like slandering other programs in your own conference when you have no idea what you're talking about.

Can't believe delusional people think Pike would leave Rutgers for....lol...Syracuse
They apparently don't know he has a top 5 recruiting class coming here and that Syracuse is 100% poor in comparison to Rutgers.

Yea. Break a contract that runs through 2031. Their school will totally do that when they didn't even pay their assistants or players in football to stay

They are a delusional bunch
Must be the 350 day/year cloudy weather and snow from October - April clouding their brains

Actually liked him back in the day and he was mostly complimentary to RU. But the CVS analogy has more than a ring of truth.

It’s their fans that were insufferable and obnoxious.
Was over trolling the threads on the Syracuse fan board and the loathing and delusions of grandeur are some of the best entertainment I can see for free. A fan base stuck in the frozen tundra of the past and seeing their old Big East rival excel is just too much for most of them.

The guy has had a great career. Timing of the Big East success helped them have one of the top programs for many years. However the ACC move really back fired, lets face it we were really jealous when they and other teams got invited to the ACC. Thank god the powers at the B1G understood our potential as a market and didn't just look for brand names which is what the ACC did. Maryland and Rutgers will keep the B1G as one of the premiere conference along with the SEC while the ACC will remain in the 2nd tier level.
