Is there a real possibility the NFL will lock out?

I don't see or hear much about it, but what little Ive heard is that there has been little movement towards compromise. The NFL makes so much money, its crazy talk to think they'd lock out- right? (MLB)

And another thing- how does the NFL make so much money? Really- its like drug money.

That is why they want to got to 18 games and keep the players pay the same. More income for them off another home game and increased Television revenues.

But there is talk of maybe a slimmed down 9 game schedule for next year only which would suck, but still, a little football is better than no football.
