a light one though. Although I do notforeseeit, If UGA happens to beat LSU...that will almost kill any chances of that happening since we will move up in the bowl pecking order. So not only does LSU have to win, but the MCB has to get a change of heart for picking Vandy which I don't see either.
If VT beats Clemson, that essentially puts Clemson in the Peach bowl against... someone. Doubt they pick Vandy, so that leaves us and Auburn. Auburn played Clemson earlier in the year and lost... they also play against one another in the kick-off game next season. Wonder if that might play a role in the decisions. Chances are we will be in Nashville, but I'm not taking it to the bank yet.
..you've had a lot of people come here acting like they have it on high authority MSU is headed to the Music City Bowl.
They are full of ********. None of this is concrete until all the political maneuvers have taken place. And that ain't gonna happen until after the LSU vs. UGA game.
We are not even on their "board" right now. But Florida is. If Georgia wins today and everyone slides up, they'll take the Gators and match them up with the ACC title game loser. If LSU and Virginia Tech win and they don't want a rematch with Clemson and Auburn, they'll take Florida State. They don't have to take Clemson. And they sure as hell won't take us.
pretty much locked, even if UGA beats LSU. It's an outside shot, but I think we are on the Peach's Radar. If it comes between us and Auburn, I would be surprised if they didn't take them, but that doesn't mean we aren't even on their radar.
