So a Gallery Furniture in Houston is running a promotion right now... If you buy over $5000 worth of furniture/electronics buy 7 PM tomorrow night (central time)... you can guess the winner of the NCG... if you guess correctly, you get half of your purchase back. So for a $5000 purchase, you're returned $2500.
So I don't need any furniture or anything... but I would think that you could buy 5000$ worth of flat screen TVs.... guess the game... then turn around and sell those TVs for very, very close to the price you paid... Essentially wagering a very, very small amount of money (difference in what you bought and sold for) for a chance to win half your purchase price (atleast 2500$).
Someone tell me why I should NOT do this.
