I'm in agreement he needs a few years of playoff success. He just hasn't done anything in the postseason lately. Everyone has pretty much forgotten his Atlanta years.

Good call. Randall Cunningham was no slouch either.

If Kaepernick continues on the trajectory he is on then he could enter the discussion as well.

He killed a dog and the public outrage over this will make it hard for him to get in the hall. If he had just killed a person like a certain other player he'd be home free.

pro bowls don't mean much these days. half the guys decline the invite, so tons of guys that aren't near the best at their positions end up being "pro bowlers".
