My last comment on this...
..there was no excuse for that fumble. I am going to go out on a limb & say Mullen agrees with me. He had the first down by plenty once he caught the ball. All he had to do was cradle the ball & fall down. But he had to insert some flashy acrobatics into his repertoire & the ball got loose.

I didn't see any "acrobatics".. I saw a guy trying to run after the catch, he got flipped, and instinctively he put his arm down to avoid hitting the ground head-first.. and the defender never gave up on the play and he got the call (and I still say his forearm hit while he had the ball)
You really are a complete idiot, aren't you? He stopped trying to avoid the tackle and got flipped by the defender. He shouldn't have fumbled, but it wasn't his being flashy. It takes a lot of concentration to hold onto the ball when you get flipped like that. The momentum of being flipped like that causes your arms to come out away from your body which is why he lost control of the ball. Not an excuse, but at least somewhat understandable based on the play.
