You have a talent Mr. Cleveland of how to write a feel good story. It's what you were meant to do.

I was there and it was a great night. So glad I made the drive from Greenwood. RIP Kent.

Anybody who heard John Bond last night had a treat to remember. He was so funny, so poignant at the same time. If you have time look through the photos of him telling his stories in the photo gallery. J.B. can tell a story.

Kent and I were pledge brothers at State and, of course, went through "hell night" together. That night during the festivities, I got whacked somehow and broke a tooth part of the way through. I remember Kent helping me up and telling me to "grab my belt loop and don't let go - no one else will touch you." They didn't.

Unfortunately, our paths seldom crossed after college. But it has been a simple joy hearing these stories about him over the years.

Our world needs more men like him.

Rick,

Please be sure and let us know when the DVD is available. And thank you for putting this event together.

Dude head, what's up man? Hope yall are all doing well in Meridian.

Kent spoke at our athletic banquet one year in high school. Got to spend a few hours with him before the event. Super nice guy. I'll never forget that day and sitting listening to his stories. Was pretty cool for a 16 year old who wanted more than anything to get to the league.
