It's crazy how bad we are on Sundays,

when compared to FRI/SAT. We go from complete games to not being able to throw 2 innings.

It's so frustrating, knowing that every Sunday our guys are going to some out and absolutely **** the bed, from a pitching perspective. Walks and Extra base hits galore.

The problem today was poor defense. Poor defense let Pilkington down and made him leave the game early. If we'd been able to go to our better relievers an inning or two later, then this would have been a completely different ball game.

Yeah that was killer. Wish we had let konner try to work through it

I like his future but not sure how much longer we can go with stovall out there.

Spot on .. Plus we had 15 hits .. compared to LSU's 11 BUT we also left 11 on base to their 6.

At some point, we have to allow Pilkington to try and work through adversity

He seems to often run into trouble around the 3rd (sometimes at no fault of his own) and he gets yanked. ALL pitchers face adversity; the better ones figure out how to work through it. Post season play is only going to magnify this. We need him to consistently go 5-6 innings.

Giving him a shot to fight through cant end up any worse than every other Sunday outcome.

Especially since he pitches sundays when runs are generally easier to come by.
