Not overly impressed with either team. Both are good but Hanover from last season beats both teams by 20.
13-0 king George 10:21 left in the 2nd. Louisa too many penalties early. The Lion hurry up offense is going no where and wearing the Lion defense out. Still early though. Lions clean up penalties maybe different. Still not impressed with qb throwing.
Lions take lead much better quarter for Lions. 14-13. King George dropping a TD pass was big momentum change.
Halftime: 28-13 Louisa. The first 17 minutes of the game was some of the worst Louisa football I've seen in a while, penalty-wise. But that was a quick turnaround. KG got tired really quickly from the no-huddle offense.
28-13 lions at half. Lions had a great 2 quarter. Cleaned up penalties and looked much better. Lions looked for real that quarter.
If Louisa can play full games like that 2nd quarter, they'll be awesome. Also of note, FB/LB DeVonte Shelton is not dressed, he's suspended.

Yeah I told hoos I don't think Louisa can out point the top teams in the region cause our area teams are awful. But Louisa looked much better after the first quarter and they may make some noise, but they still struggling with pass defense and pass offense. Stop the run game and they only throw deep or behind the line of scrimmage. No timing routes or ability to create.
We run timing routes in practice, and ran a couple tonight, probably saving more for later. Who knows?

I agree cause dinwiddie was young last year and enormous. Lions would get them in second round of playoffs most likely.
Great job Lions. Good teams win tough games. Congrats Hoos and Louisa Dad. Please dont anoint my Generals. We have three straight tough games coming up and were beaten by two of the teams last year. Let the Lions faithful enjoy this victory. They deserve it.
