My favorites...

I've decided that when I die, I'd like the UT football team to lower me into the ground...that way they can let me down, one last time.

Dooley has more receptions than Justin Hunter this quarter

Tennessee, the new Ole Miss.

HIRE NUTT!!!! Good god, this is embarassing

The amazing thing is that Ole Miss is happy with how their season is going. I was surprised they didn't have anything on there. I'll be patient and wait for their SEC schedule to begin and then they will be jumping off buildings.

These type of posts baffle me

Everyone, and I mean everyone, thought Ole Miss was a 3-4 win team tops this year going into the season. Half the posters on here were calling for 0-12 possibly, and then 1-11 after the first half of the first game. Ole Miss folks see reason to be optimistic about the future, even if they still suck this year, and for whatever reason everyone on here thinks that's ludicrous. I just don't get it. They are a bit improved over last year. They still suck this year. I'm not sure what part of that is so hard to grasp. (and no, rational Ole Miss fans are not walking around with their dicks in their hand calling for 7 wins this season. let's not confuse the Spirit with real life).

Please tell me why they should be disappointed with having won as many games already this year as they did all of last year?

The sheer number of posts about Ole Miss, despite our own team playing well, and the insane amount of posts meant simply to turn this place into eggbowl.com are just astounding.

a nice burst of logic................

many said we'd be 0-12/1-11. i think we'll win a few more but regardless the difference in our team this yr is amazing. nutt left us in such shape that it is going to take some time, but anybody can see that we're making big progress. the effort, discipline and organization is obivous. heck we haven't gotten one delay of game penalty coming out of a time out this year! its gonna be a tough year but to suggest we have nothing to be pleased about is ignorant.

Beeeeee-eeeeesssss!
Many people said the Bears would be 0-12/1-11? How about a link or two? Lots of people said the Bears will go 0-8 in the SEC. I can't remember anyone who said Umiss goes winless. Other that Texas, your non-conference schedule is easy (which I think any SEC team is smart to do).

Typical Bear revisionist history.

Not to mention that Auburn and Arkansas are not looking good at all.

its gonna be a tough year but to suggest we have nothing to be pleased about is ignorant.

May not matter this year as far as wins and losses, but at least UM is not looking at being badly outmatched by every team in the West (which was not farfetched at the beginning of the year) and also, assuming they don't turn it around next year, UM is not looking at rebuilding in a stacked West, where you have to be solidly in the top 25 to think about competing for fourth.

Unbelievable. Your offense might be a bit better. Your defense is MUCH worse. If the effort is better that should scare the hell out of you for the future. That's what we are seeing.

Some one should tell this guy

"It burns. My eyes are burning while watching this."

It's not the football. It's the orange.

so giving up 66 points for the first time in over 40 years is amazing improvement???? And let's not forget, that was a gracious 66- it could have been 76. But that is AMAZING improvement!!!!

Which is looking about right. I picked the Bears to go 3-9 and they're exactly where I thought they'd be right now. Offense is a little better than I expected, but defense is a lot worse.
