Sorry to highjack your thread but the Hump will never be able to support a successful Rick's Rowdies type of group as it currently sits. Can't do much for an atmosphere or anything like that when you put students in seats behind a goal. You've got to pack them in with bleachers on a corner or something.
Those seats are nice, but unnecessary and the have killed the mood to become rowdy fans. Outside of the UK/John Wall game no one even stands up anymore. They clap from their seats and stand up only for the national anthem.

What an awesome atmosphere. Anyone that thinks fans don't help a team win a game, is out of their mind.

Seeing the students having that much fun made me a tad nostalgic.
Wasn't intending to compare atmospheres. My group did raise hell at games though.

When I was in school, Rick's Rowdies weren't fans of basketball, they were fans of dressing up. I'm guessing it hasn't gotten any better.
