Many fans are getting their wish. This isn`t the way most of you wanted it to happen though.

Take it with a grain of salt. Listened to Joe Ganz thoughts on Fyfe this evening. Said he is streaky like Armstrong but struggles to get out of cold snaps more than Tommy. Will be interesting to see the gameplan they use this Saturday because it cant be the same as it was with Tommy.

Hope he has a good game. Bet he's a bit nervous going on the road and being his first start. But if he helps them win, then it's good for everyone.

Rally the players and get the OL and DL to get physical. This team can shorten the game with a combo of two to three RBs plus Jano pounding the ball and having the DL force Purdue to be one dimensional.

This is a come together game for the team. Go get it done guys.

I can't imagine there will be over 30K fans at the game. It will be pretty dead

I was hoping Ryker would have been given one series after Tommy threw the pick 6 to send a message to our starter. Maybe the coaching staff gave Ryker the entire next game? Winking

Sucks Tommy led us to a TD drive to get that TD back.

I think Ryker does the little things that turn simple plays into solid gainers like screens, the TE at opportune times, running to the sticks to get first downs, etc. and NU wins. I think Tommy will not be good to go for MSU. I think the defense gels for MSU, Ryker has an outstanding game and we win. I think Tommy will be ready for Rutgers and "Ryker or Tommy" will be the hottest topic on this board since "Ginger or Mary Ann".

wouldn't be surprised at all if TA misses at least 1-2 more games (not counting purdue). probably more of a "week to week" thing than a "day to day" thingy (if it is actually turf toe). anyone be shocked if his season is done?

See, I have a hard time with buying that argument. Yes TA can be clutch, but it's usually after he put us in that position in the first place. It's a wash in the best case scenario, so to me, there is not a lot of value in that.

I suspect we are going to continue to see a lot of WTH??? plays and decisions from the QB position this week .... Fyfe is probably going to make many of the same mistakes in his first start that Tommy continues to make in his 30th+ start
