Even thoughtMSU/LSU is one of the longest played series in SEC history, it is also one of the most lopsided. My choice was to move LSU to further in the year, but they would never allow that

LSU will never drop it's series with Ole Miss or Alabama....rest are up for grabs, but the further away, the easier to drop same is true for.....
Auburn will never drop it's series with Georgia or Alabama
Alabama will never drop it's sries with UT or the obvious
Georgia.....Florida or Auburn
Vandy.....Tennessee
SC.......Florida and Georgia
Arkansas......Bama and LSU

So lets look at most likelys......

Inter division

MSU and Kentucky
Ole Miss and Vandy
Arkansas and South Carolina

Intra division

MSU and Arkansas
MSU and LSU
MSU and Auburn

Ole Miss and Auburn
Ole Miss and Alabama
Ole Miss and Arkansas

Vandy and anyone but UT and UK
UK and anyone
SC and Vandy, UK and UT

So, here would be the list of teams most likely replaced

MSU would probably give up LSU
Ole Miss would likely give up Bama
Arkansas would likely give up Auburn

That gives A&M 3 teams

BUT they would also have to pickup 2 of those three games out of LSU,Bama and Auburn. So that gives them5 games.

Now for the3 out of "division"

Since 6 east division teams cannot have one permanentmatchupof 7 west division opponents, I say the Conference requires the west to have 2permanent matchups in the division, 3 rotating matchups in the division, 3rotating out of division matchups.

The east will have 5 permanent matchups and 3 rotating matchups in the west.

At least till they pick a 14th team

How would a potential Missouri addition to the SEC effect all of this?

There's no way they can keep permanent opponents going in and out with balanced schedules when there's West pairs not playing each other.<div>I think they piece it together in 2012 if they have to, and we'll have a 14th and back to regular schedules by 2013.</div>

No way you can have a true division champ without all the teams playing each other every year....

I have been building a hate for LSU that can only be relieved with a win over them. This delays our overdue win.

You can write this down, the rotation will be that we'll have 2 permanent West opponents (UM and I'm guessing A&M), and we'll miss the other 4 once every 7 years. So if we miss LSU in 2012, we won't miss them again until 2019.
