Yeah, your program has SO much going for it... A 70 year old-mediocre coach who will be gone in two years, a QB who throws it more to the other team than his own, a backup QB is a walk on and can't beat Purdon't, a D that can't defend the pass, and now your two best DTs leave early (too early).
We will enjoy our top 10 program, you can enjoy a Farniok.
Congrats on your victory. Lmao.

Oh Iowa, it was fun while it lasted wasn't it? You got to go to homecoming with the pretty girl and even after it didn't go so well, she agreed to be your prom date and after you effed that up you went back to normal life of lube and porn in the basement, dreaming about what might have been. Enjoy!

Don't knock our QB. He is the reason you beat Nebraska for the second time.

Well, that Iowa guy was wrong! Lol.

It is interesting watching both teams go nuts over a middle of the pack OL prospect!

Don't get me wrong, he's a good prospect (little heavy on the legs), but I guess seeing Oregon recruit over the years has me a bit spoiled Smokin
Too 300 guy on ESPN and top OL on both staffs boards... Check his offer list he's legit and we are glad to have him.

Iowa hasn't won an outright conference title since 1985, and still haven't won the prestigious Rose Bowl since 1959.

This is the golden years of Iowa football, and all they have are a couple shared conference titles. Hell, even Hayden Fry's best team at Iowa was embarrassed in the Rose Bowl.

Nebraska hasn't done anything of note since 2001, but man... Really puts things into perspective.

1959 Rose Bowl and the 2010 Orange Bowl are the only 2 Major or BCS bowls they have won in the last 56 years.
Can't blame them about sharing the 2002 Big 10 because they never had a shot at playing tOSU, but their other Conference title they shared with Michigan they lost to them head to head.

We'll be back in the Top 10 next year, while you clowns will be lucky to make a bowl game. Again.

Congrats on beating us for one OL recruit. We'll somehow keep putting more of them into the NFL and on the all-conference team, despite starting a bunch of 2*s and walk-ons.

I think TA just threw another pick....

Don't be so sure about that. You guys ended up being exactly what Cowherd said you were, and I don't think voters are going to forget how you looked in your final couple games.

And the funny thing about that last comment is...you NEEDED him to throw four for your best team ever to win....

None of us know how any of these players will perform or when they will contribute to our teams. I believe there is more to recruit's success in college than just their athletic ability or number of stars. We wanted Farniok, but he chose to be a Husker. So, congrats on getting him.

Rankings are fun to watch but I do not feel most rankings from 20th to 40th are much different in ability. Are they 5.7 or a 5.8. Difference there is .1. You have to considering what you have for classes before and after. Until either of us get in the top 10 of recruiting, we need players to perform over their star rankings.

You have some good opportunities to fill out your class and I would be happy to fill ours with Jackson and Fant.
As far as history of program, anyone that follows knows your's is stronger than the Hawks. But, this does not win games now.

That is why they still play the games.

Good luck the rest of the recruiting season and look forward to playing the Huskers next year.

Iowa not only lost Matt Farniok, but more than likely Will Farniok, who they liked so much that they offered him as a sophomore.

There is a poster over on Iowa's free board that just doesn't get it - I'd love to name him, but I won't. He posts idiotic stuff here I see.

The one that sticks out over here is brutal to read as well. I think most would know who I'm talking about - even as Neb. fans.

Each fanbase has their own crap to deal with, but these two especially stick out, and I wish their own moderators would hint at them to tone it down a bit, or stop turning every thread into mush.

Remember, some were trying to plant the seed that Jackson is higher on their board. Problem is, he hasn't committed so as Husker fans already knew, he was their back-up plan for Farniok.

Iowa knew it was a long shot Farniok had visited Nebraska so many times, most logical Iowa fans knew he was a heaving lean to Nebraska, congrats on getting him. Hopefully for his sake Nebraska finds some coaches who can develop lineman.

Have fun while you can with poking fun at the 6-7 record now while you guys can, its the only knock you guys have on us right now. Next year will get here soon enough.
I don't want to be the reality guy, but there's also Nebraska's lack of top 10 finishes and BCS-level bowl game appearances in the last 15 years (whereas "Io_a" has 5 and 3 respectively). At least Nebraska has the head to head edge in the last 5 years though, and has better recruiting classes.

Our line looked damn good in our bowl game even without a starting center.
How did Iowah's look in theirs? Refresh my memory

Your line dominated that game was a thing of beauty. TA played lights out. Never seen a team get the bad breaks you did this year in your losses. Hope it comes down to Black Friday next year in IC for the West. Have a great off season and Go Hawks!

Would it surprise you that Iowa currently (per ESPN) has 24 in the NFL and Oregon State (with as ****** as they have been under this staff) has 21? So with all (really nothing) Iowa has done and they are still pretty close to this coaching staff.

By the way, it shows Nebraska with 26. Just wanted to be fair and not let you think I was holding back as a homer. I am pretty confident that these coaches will put guys in the league. I am just worried if they can win consistently with them. If not, then we would be.......well......Iowa. God that would suck

Out recruited by Iowa State for a tight end? Say it isn't so Nebraska....
And what about Iowa and your 40th ranked class, hmmm? Who have you been out recruited by? I would say "Say it isn't so Iowa" but this is par for the course for you guys. Top 10 finish and your class is 40th? Wow, talk about capitalizing on the good while you can... I'm impressed!

Out recruited? Sure, that's what happened. More football smack coming from a guy whose io_a team is .500 against condiment state over the last 20 years. Do you turn around three times before you lay down to sleep?
