I've got a question about the Penn State travesty...

...I've surfed around & found videos of Penn State students gathering in front of JoPa's house, & "lending their support."

So here's the question: IfMullen was confronted with theexact scenario JoPa is confronted with currently, would youorgainze &/or join a rally that gathered in front of Mullen's housewhere you could voice your support for Mullen?

Think about it. These students are not dealing with facts. These students think JoPa is the victim of a witchhunt.

Just like many of you would think Mullen is victim of a witchhunt.

I would not do it. In fact I would lead efforts to do the opposite. I see where Joe is remorseful that he did not do more. I just wonder how remorseful he would be if he had not gotten caught looking the other way. He should be ashamed of his self and I hope this hunts his legacy forever. Something else. It is amazing this came out right after he passed Eddie Robinson for total wins. That just as fuel to the fire for conspiracy people.

These students are more than likely clueless. I wonder how many of them have actually read the 23 page Grand Jury indictment? Probably very few if any.

he admits that he could have done so. He didn't say he regretted that he couldn't do more. He should be dismissed immediately. His statement to his players still shows a strong egotistical streak and he is still deciding his own fate by stating that he will retire at the end of the year. Who the hell is in charge up there? Apparently he is.

I could imagine if I were 20 years old and Mullen had been the only coach I'd ever known here and he was as successful as JoePa, I could see how it would be difficult to turn your back on him within 48 hours of everything breaking.

My guess is they will gradually come to their senses.

I did lots of stupid things in college I wouldn't do now. Wisdom comes with age.

he's had an entire decade to "do more". If he truly regretted it, then he would have gotten off his *** and done something about it. The only reason he regrets it now is because he lost his job over it.

17 him and PSU's decision to let let him retire at season's end. I mean really, are you kidding me? Once again, this just screams out loud their sickeningly and obvious mindset that they know they screwed up, but football still comes first.

but there's a difference between not turning your back on him right away and going to his house to publicly support him.

If it's hard for you to call for his firing because of how many years he's put in at Penn State, then I don't agree with it, but I understand it. What I can't fathom, however, is going to his house and cheering a man who, while he didn't break the law, did something very, very wrong and immoral.

this morning and every word he said I agreed with. It's terrible. It's awful. It's pathetic. Why the Hell didn't the GA do something? And JoePa, you're not sorry. You could have prevented other children from having their lives being miserably altered by that sick bastard. JoePa is sorry he got caught. Ever since he first learned of what that bastard did, he could have came forward. He had every single day until four days ago to speak out and do the right thing. But when did he do it? When he got caught.

I despise him and I would despise anybody that ever enabled despicable acts to happen. Who cares about what he's done- what he didn't do now outweighs what he's done. And any Penn State fan SHOULD be worried about these children's lives being ruined more than Paterno's legacy being ruined.
