Debrin I love you to death; but, why is Butch a lazy hire? Folks have mentioned these “Big Splash Hires” do you think these seasoned vets are coming in? Not being ugly just asking? Guys who have been at programs for a long time; unless, your talking about the Oregon coach, who in &tate fans minds would not be a great hire. Sorry man, just trying to figure out Lazy Hires?

Butch is the guy in the back pocket we can always get. He should be down on the list if the first several options fall through. It's as milquetoast of a hire as Lemonis was.

Others talking up Butch right now should not be trusted. They're doing it because they know that's the likely direction and are gaslighting you.

If people who know college baseball compiled a top 10 list of great coaches to target, Butch would not be on it.
