While Kneel has a huge guaranteed contract, Shame does not.

If he isn't fired this week, I don't know what direction WVU athletics is heading into.

Woke is great, but at some f#$king point you need to win games.

Winning is what got us into the Big 12. This losing ******** might leave us out in the f$&king cold.

Bob Huggins at athletic director. Let him hire new football and bball coaches.
I was thinking this as we need him out as coach anyway, so this would be a great move. He's intelligent, ethical, lives and breaths WVU, and I think would be well respected as out top guy.

Huh? The second winningest coach in WVU history, two ten win seasons, averaged 8 wins the last five, over eight the last 4, multiple rankings, multiple ranked wins, transitioned WVU from the Big East into the BIG 12 and WON 7 games a year or more outside of ONE year with a completely depleted roster from the previous coach against the toughest schedules ever faced? WVU would be LUCKy to experience that type of success now.

Last couple years we could see an overall decline in recruiting, position depth and development. Was this a result of lack of support from above?

I actually had Huggins written in as Interim HC, but I'm sure he could be both.

We'd have to buy some treadmills for the practice field though.

2nd in all time loses as well and what was his winning% compared to other wvu coachs. The goal is to win conference championships not win 7 games a year and go 2-5 in bowl games.

Nope. Let him retire and remain loved. He's on the Mt. Rushmore of Mountaineers.

If he was AD and it went poorly, it would really tarnish him for no reason...and why would he want that job? It's real work and he's old and rich...

A log was from the portal, especially
Influenced by raids staged through illegsl contact by a former coach.

Describe the last few years under Huggins
Last 5 years 97-69 with a season of the most losses ever added in 2018-19 a 15-21 (4-14) then 2021-22 a 16-17 (4-14). No post season in 2019-20 with a 21-10 (9-9) 3rd place finish. In 2020-21 a 19-10 (11-6) 3rd place finish and loss in round 1 NCAA.

People tend to forget the three winning seasons between the two horrid seasons with 2 third place and a second place finish.

So best description would be roller coaster.
