every one of us likes to be liked. It's human nature. But 3 weeks in, Trumplethinskin calls for a campaign rally to have his loyal white trash base remind him of how great he is? This has to be a record. 3 weeks into a new administration? Here's an idea. Why doesn't he govern for a while. Take a PDB every now and then. Stay off twitter, get some sleep and work. TTS is so butthurt that he's not being well-received and that the press is reporting what is happening-Russia, Flynn/Bannon/Miller/Conway's public lies, crazy conspiracy theories, insane voter fraud allegations, the need to remind everyone at every opportunity of his huge "historic" electoral college win. His approval numbers are at a historic low for a prez a month in. And he knows more Americans voted against him than for him. The guy just can't stand to be questioned. And he certainly can't stand to not be accepted. He has some serious psychological issues. And the country will pay the price.
I've never seen a more insecure President....

I disagree ... I think we are all better off the more distracted he is with other things and the less he tries to govern.
It's because he actually knows how stupid he is. He knows that every bit of success he has had is because he has conned people and it is not working now. He knows he is in over his head.
There's only so much he can do without legislature, and they aren't totally cooperating. If they don't, however, expect a house cleaning next time around.

Yes, forgot about the GOP controlled Congress. The nerve of those losers to do their job and investigate the Russia problem. The thing about that is, these guys in Congress for all their partisanship, will not want to be remembered as the group that allowed an incoming administration to collude with a state enemy to win an election. Not how they want history to be written.
It is hard to put my feelings into words. I know many on here are glad for it but this president, the state of our government and the behavior of the Trump apologists which is a ton of people including all the fools here, I just have little to say other than it is extemely sad however one wants to view it.
Go back and look at his campaign. He was bragging about the size of his penis for heavens sake. When someone questions his actual wealth, he goes in to a tirade about it. He is, BY FAR, the most insecure person to ever be in the White House.
To be fair, he wasn't bragging about the size of it so much as trying to make sure nobody thought it was small.
The funny thing is Rubio never said that anyway. He said "you know what they say about guys with small hands <lengthy pause> ... you can't trust them". He let the audience and particularly Trump fill in "they have a small dick" without ever saying it.
And then to your point, he comes to the next debate and without being prompted he starts talking about his penis the first chance he gets. There were lots of other signs, but that one right there was a big indicator to me that he had serious issues.
White trash? At least some of the white trash split their ticket and vote for both parties. One party votes the same every year and didn't have to miss a day of work to hang out in DC for a short time. Democrats have been so good for them.
