You must be new to this board. We have had this democracy vs republic discussion a number of times already over the past 6 months. Every time the argument came from pro-insurrection supporters who lectured the rest of us on how we supposedly didn’t understand the intricacies of our system, we are not a democracy, that the Jan 6 rioters were heroes just as the Boston tea party guys were, etc.

In short, we have had this discussion a dozen times already since the spring, every single it’s the same arguments from the same crowd. So, your line of thinking may seem fresh to you but it’s been rehashed ad nauseam here…

I don’t care if you’re a Rino or a Rat. In fact, to me, Rinos are worse than Rats. The party of moderates is dead. We proved that with Romney, Mccain, and then Trump. Jan 6th had nothing on the violence that Patriotic Americans went through for the birth of this nation.
