because he's pissed that Sherrill gets access to a closed practice and he doesn't. Think it through. If Sherrill got into a closed practice as a media rep, then why is Veazey shut out? If Sherrill got in as a former coach, then why did Brett say he was not invited?

I see why Veazey would want to stir up ****.

As long as Jackie had no contact with players, it's a non-issue.

The NCAA can't tell us who we can and cannot have observe practice.

If Veazey has a gripe he needs to take it up with Mullen, not Bracky Brett. CDM can decide if a practice is open or closed AND if closed who he will let in and who he won't. Agreed that as long as Jackie kept his rear in the stands, this is nothing Veazey should be bugging Brett about. Besides observing and reporting, JWS has some allegiance to MSU while Veazey has absolutely none.

about having a freshman team, and I wish that all teams could do that. I think it would be a cool way for fans to see some of the prospects that are going to RS like Tyler Russell, and see some of the walk-ons. I think it would also be cool for the freshman team to play some of the JUCO's.

Like Sherrill said, it won't happen.

I agree Douchebag of the Year is going way too far, but you have to admit this was a bit "whiny *****" of Veasey.

I think Sherrill should be allowed some liberties like watching practice from afar because of who he is, but when he writes about for a pay site, that's a little different.

And I think they play Hargrave every year and probably some JUCOs.

ETA: At least they did under Fulmer.....

They played (and defeated) Hargrave last year. Marshall and ECU's freshman teams also played against Hargrave last year. Miami (OH) is another team that comes to mind, because their freshman team will play the University of New Orleans (UNO) this fall. UNO will be playing D-III football this year.

I think he's got an itch and it needs some monostat.

Jackie's articles are top notch, maybe fungus crotch could learn something from the King.

I'm so damn old I remember when we did have a freshmen team. Seems like we always went 4-1, 5-1 , or 6-0 with the freshman squad and 0 fer or 1 or 2 fer with the varsity.
