Played LB and SS. He had health issues last year and had worked to return to the team this year. Killed in a crash near Ayden. I had a driver's Ed teacher in 74 that told us as a class to look around at each other and see the faces. He told us chances are one will be gone before the year is out. He told us a few would be gone before the following year. He gave percentage's for the next 5 years, then 10 years. His numbers was so scary but turned out to be so accurate. I lost 2 close friends the following year. One drowned and the other in a farming accident. I never forgot Mr. Lee's words to appreciate each other.
