Ives is a kid from the east than Barthel thought could compete on the roster. He's a big kid and did fit with the more power run game Rhule wanted when he showed up. Booth is an NE kid that probably has one year left on the roster unless he wants to just be a practice and special teams player.
It seems at NU, for every blue chip Lucky and Burkhead that works out, a lower regarded guy like Roy Helu is as or more productive. That 3*ish slice of RB recruits can go either way. Rule has nice size, good speed and some decent moves for a freshman. And it seems like a really good kid and is coachable. Nelson also has decent speed and runs like a bull. Both kids do not like to go down on first contact.
If another good year of productivity comes from that group, NU will get more text and call back from blue chips out of both HS and the portal.
